Emmerdale next week: Billy’s secret phone call, Arthur’s new man and Kim kidnapped

Emmerdale spoilers for next week see Kim Tate kidnapped, while Arthur Thomas gets a new man and Billy Fletcher makes a secret phone call…

Next week’s Emmerdale is set to be a rollercoaster of emotions as Kim Tate gets kidnapped, Jai Sharma makes an effort to win over Arthur Thomas, and Dawn Fletcher confronts her husband Billy about some discovered money.

Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), filled with regret and desperation, panics when the blackmailer raises the stakes to 50K. Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) is taken aback when Will requests a loan in exchange for his shares in the haulage business.

After securing Caleb’s loan, Will is in high spirits as he makes grand promises to his wife Kim (Claire King).

However, his good mood quickly dissipates when the blackmailer sends a message demanding payment. The following day, after receiving the 40K in cash from Caleb, Will informs his blackmailer that he has the money.

He then seeks out Jimmy King (Nick Miles) and admits to the deal with Caleb, leaving Jimmy enraged by his friend’s betrayal, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The situation worsens when Will returns to Home Farm for lunch only to find Kim missing. He is alarmed when he receives a call from his blackmailer informing him they’ve kidnapped her.

Following the blackmailer’s instructions, Will arrives at a woodland area, desperate to rescue his wife. He is puzzled when he discovers a mannequin dressed like Kim, taunting him further into the woods.

In addition, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) feels encouraged when Charles Anderson advises him to do whatever necessary to maintain a relationship with Arthur Thomas (Alfie Clarke). However, Jai feels defeated when Arthur continues to ignore him.

Arthur is seen welcoming his date, Lewis, into Mulberry the following day. The atmosphere is tense as they crack open a beer, unsure of their next move.

Later on, Jai catches Arthur and Lewis sneakily getting rid of their empty beer cans. When Lewis makes an awkward exit, Arthur fears that Jai might spill the beans to Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) about his date.

In another part of town, Ryan Stocks (James Moore) is disheartened to learn that Gail Loman (Rachael Gill-Davis) is eager to find a new home but prefers to live alone. Will he manage to persuade her to share a home with him?

Elsewhere, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) confronts Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) over the money she discovered. Billy brushes it off as savings for a surprise, earning Dawn’s forgiveness.

However, when Dawn heads back upstairs, a suspicious Billy dials a number to request more work. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) are at odds over the allegations against Tom King (James Chase).
