Emmerdale’s Lawrence Robb is known for playing notorious womaniser Mackenzie Boyd, but life away from the cameras couldn’t be more different to his alter ego.
Emmerdale’s Mackenzie “Mack” Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb) first catapulted onto our screens in October 2020 as the long-lost brother of Moira Barton.
The Scottish hunk has been involved in his fair share of trouble in the ITV village. From dodgy business dealings to questionable love affairs, the star has left fans screaming at their screens over his wild antics.
Most recently, the TV favourite was left fighting for his life after he came face to face with a bull on the farm, leading to his collapse after being attacked.
But that wasn’t the only injury the character faced this year. Earlier this year he was stabbed by Charity and at the start of the year he was kidnapped at Christmas.
It seems no matter what he does, devastation is left in his wake. Thankfully, the 33-year-old actor is world’s away from his onscreen character.
The soap star lives a far less eventful life off-screen with his lookalike siblings and his doting new girlfriend, reports the Mirror.

The soap hunk hails from Kilmacolm in northwest Glasgow and has always been proud of his Scottish roots.
Growing up in the leafy village, Lawrence is one of four children, with the actor having two brothers JJ and Mitchell as well as a sister named Abi.
The TV favourite is clearly a family man, with the actor frequently sharing sweet family snaps online. Taking to Instagram, Lawrence previously shared a cool family tradition with his brothers online.
He cheekily posted a picture of their matching personalised registration plates which he followed up with a group snap of his siblings dressed up to the nines for a special family event in matching tartan pants.

Famous girlfriend
Lawrence is believed to be in a relationship with Pamela Blair, a West End star who has joined the cast in The Devil Wears Prada musical production.
Her other theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast, Oklahoma!, Cinderella, 42nd Street and Curtains. The talented actress has also appeared in the film Tomorrow Morning and made several TV appearances in BBC Proms and ITV’s The Olivier Awards.
While Lawrence likes to keep his love life out of the spotlight, Pamela posted a series of snaps in September from their latest vacation in Tuscany to celebrate her 28th birthday.
Before this, Pamela seemingly confirmed their romance in July when the West End star shared photos from their Cornwall getaway, where Lawrence posed with her adorable pooch.
Any fan of the soap hunk would know he is a huge dog lover, and can often be found posting about his adorable dachshunds named Peaches and Pip online.

Hidden talent
In addition to his acting skills, Lawrence is also a talented singer after he studied musical theatre at university.
His rigorous vocal training led him to envision a future as a singer. Back in June 2020, Lawrence wowed his audience by posting a clip where he delivered a stirring rendition of Ben E. King’s Stand By Me on the piano, showcasing his impressive vocal range.
Comments poured in praising his multi-talented nature. A fan remarked: “Oh my, you’re very talented in music. You’ll have to play that in the Wooly to Charity! ” while another expressed admiration saying: “Didn’t know you could sing and play piano as well as act. Absolutely amazing.”
However, these days the versatile performer delightfully embraces whatever opportunities come his way, whether it’s gracing a stage with song or shining on screen in an acting role.
Lawrence, famed for his role in Emmerdale, has also starred in the hit dark comedy-drama I Hate Suzie (2020) and performed in the detective flick The Trouble Downstairs (2014).
