Emmerdale’s Kim Tate could be set to move out of the iconic Home Farm – and its new owners have been ‘rumbled’ by fans
Emmerdale fans reckon Kim Tate is about to move out of Home Farm – with its new owners ‘exposed.’
Iconic Home Farm has been a staple on the soap for decades, housing Dales legend Kim Tate (Claire King). However, Kim has had a dramatic few months recently.
Recently, Kim found out that Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) was attempting to take her down. Rose had rocked up to the Dales this year, and appeared to turn up in a bid to rekindle things with her estranged family – including daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley).
However, it was revealed that Rose was in cahoots with Ruby (Beth Cordingly) to take down Kim. Kim eventually found out that Rose was out to get her – and forced Rose out of the village, not knowing that Rose had slept with ex and Kim’s husband Will (Dean Andrews).
However, things took an unexpected turn when Rose disappeared – with Kim and Will thinking either one of them murdered Rose. The truth came out though that Rose was alive, with daughter Dawn fuming after finding out about Will’s lies. As a result, she and Billy (Jay Kontzle) moved out of the Home Farm.
However, recently, Will started receiving threats for money blackmailing him about his night of passion with Rose. It all started with a bouquet of flowers that Will received that had a note attached which read: “I know what you did.”
Now, amid all the drama in Dales, viewers reckon Kim could end up selling her beloved residence – and fans have ‘worked out’ who could be moving in. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “I read somewhere that Kim puts home farm up for sale and it ends up with an unlikely new owner.”
In the comments section, fans soon shared their thoughts, with plenty claiming it could be Joe Tate (Ned Porteous). Joe was married to Joe’s grandfather, Frank Tate, making her his step-grandmother.
He was last seen six years on screen after he was compelled to make an escape. Kim ordered Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) to get rid of Joe after she found out he had been frittering away her money.
He was spared and fled the village, and in March 2019, Kim found out that he was alive and in Monte Carlo. Sharing a theory that Joe could be heading back as the new owner of Home Farm, one person said: “Isn’t Joe Tate coming back. Perhaps he buys it with a solicitor doing all the work to keep it hush.” Someone else replied: “Ohh hope he does come back I could see it happening as well.” A third chimed in and said: “It’s Joe Tate!!”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
