Emmerdale heartthrob now unrecognisable after incredible Hollywood career

One former Emmerdale hunk looks completely different since launching his career in Hollywood – and a far cry from his roots feuding with the Dingles in the Dales

Emmerdale’s former heartthrob, Noah Huntley, is barely recognisable 27 years after his stint as the handsome Luke McAllister on the ITV soap.

The actor, 47, who went on to a name for himself in Hollywood after his exit from the soap, as he landed several major film roles

He first graced our screens as the youthful Luke in 1993 and made quite the entrance as he went on to feud with the Dingles when his bride-to-be Tina left him at the altar.

In a vengeful act, his young character was seen abducting Tina, bundling her into a car and speeding off, leading to a deadly crash.

Luke met his end in the ensuing pile-up, marking Noah’s departure from the beloved ITV soap just two years after his debut.

Fast forward over 25 years, and Noah looks strikingly different, sporting a neatly trimmed beard and shorter hair.

His career took off in Hollywood, landing lead roles in The Chronicles of Narnia and Snow White and the Huntsman. He shared the screen with Cillian Murphy and Naomi Harris in Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later, shortly after leaving the soap world in 2000.

He then joined the cast of Holby City as Will Curtis, featuring in two seasons between 2004 and 2005 before returning to the big screen. In 2012, he impressed moviegoers in Snow White and the Huntsman, followed by his portrayal of Captain Petrue in Dracula Untold in 2015.

He also starred as Elizabeth Hurley’s lover in the series The Royals and played Donovan Osborn in the American drama series Pandora, which aired in 2020.

Besides his on-screen career, Noah has modelled for Paul Smith, Jigsaw and Bloomingdales, and has campaigned for L’Oreal men.

Thanks to his handsome features, he has graced the covers of several international magazines, including Vogue, Esquire and GQ.

The heartthrob is believed to be single, sharing glimpses of his bachelor lifestyle and global travels on Instagram.

Noah isn’t the only soap star who has recently surprised fans with a dramatic transformation, as Emmerdale’s Ryan Rawley looks unrecognisable.

The actor, who played Robert Sugden, left the ITV soap in 2019 with hopes of pursuing bigger roles and has recently made a return to TV. He made a guest appearance in Silent Witness in 2021, but many viewers didn’t even recognise him.

Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX
