Emmerdale viewers are convinced they know who will kill Tom King as a major character returned to the village
Emmerdale bad boy Tom King (James Chase) has found himself pleading his innocence after Carl Holliday (Charlie Munro Joyce) finally revealed his violent behaviour. However, viewers believe another character will be the one to bring Tom down.
Tom, a vet, is under investigation for domestic violence allegations made by his wife Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) during their marriage. The police are seeking his iPad, which contains evidence of his manipulative behaviour.
Carl, who is Tom’s cousin, was in possession of the device when the police arrived. This led to Tom intimidating the young boy into surrendering it, even threatening him with potential jail time.
Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) noticed her son’s strange behaviour in the following weeks, as Carl became fearful of being around Tom. In an attempt to understand what was happening, she gently questioned Carl about the situation.
Tom insisted that Carl was fabricating stories, but he was forced to admit the truth about the tablet when Nicola disclosed that the youngster had seen him destroying the electronic device in the garden, reports Leeds Live.
In a surprising twist, Tom confessed that he had footage of Belle from a hidden camera on the tablet. He claimed he installed the camera out of concern for her mental health.
At this point, it became clear to Nicola that Belle was telling the truth about Tom’s abusive behaviour.
Ross Barton, portrayed by Michael Parr, made a dramatic comeback to the Dales after six years away, facing off against Billy Fletcher, played by Jay Kontzle, in a bare-knuckle fight. His return is set to stir up trouble, with fans speculating he’ll be the one to confront Tom.
On Facebook, a fan commented: “Would like to see Tom rub Ross up the wrong way”, while another responded: “Ross would make mince meat out of Tom.”
Another added their voice to the discussion, saying: “Would love Ross to sort Tom out”, and someone else agreed: “Ross would not be scared of Tom Tom would be scared of Ross especially if Ross gets told by the family ie Cain that Tom has been abusive towards Belle.”
One viewer even suggested a dark turn: “Ross kills him apparently”, prompting an enthusiastic response from another: “Oh yes, brilliant!”.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
