Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve rumbled who has taken April Windsor after she went missing on Christmas Day and was seen getting into a car
Emmerdale fans are sure they know who has April Windsor after she went missing.
The teenager disappeared on Christmas Day and was last seen by viewers getting into a car. Whilst some viewers are convinced April could have been taken by Anthony, and others are sure she’s with her uncle Scott, fans have now thrown a new name in the mix.
Someone recently arrived in the Dales after a long time away, leading to a string of coincidental things – including the death of Kim Tate’s husband Will Taylor – with others convinced April’s disappearance could be connected to Joe Tate’s sudden return.
Giving their theory, one fan suggested it could be someone working for Joe. They said: “I think it’s someone working for joe, charity said to him that if he brought her back people probably wouldn’t completely hate him. I think had someone take her and he’ll rescue her to make it look like he’s changed and to get back into Noah’s good books.”
Joe and Noah were seen in a frosty exchange when he arrived back in the Dales, with Noah unhappy to see Joe back. No one is glad to see him back, but Kim has come to rely on him after Will’s shocking death.
However, other fans are convinced something else might have happened to her. One wrote: “I think they are going to find out that she has been chatting to someone, a stranger, online, and has been lured away by them.”
Another penned: “I just assumed the car was a taxi that she rang given she got in the back and it didn’t look like there was anyone at the front. I’m guessing she’s ran away of her own accord and has possibly gone back to wherever her and Donna used to live.”
Joe’s return has sparked excitement amongst fans, with viewers thrilled to have Ned back. Ned shared: “I’m so excited to be returning to Emmerdale. There’s a lot of unfinished business for Joe, and it feels like the right time for him to make a comeback. Joe has always been a character with a dark side, but there could be something much bigger at play here.
“Joe is back for a reason, and the devastation at Home Farm is just the beginning of a much bigger story. It’s safe to say the audience can expect fireworks this holiday season!”
Producer, Laura Shaw, added of Joe’s return to the ITV soap: “We are thrilled to welcome Ned back to Village as the complex and captivating Joe Tate. From the moment Joe arrives on screen, it’s clear there’s trouble ahead but Joe’s hiding an even darker secret that could see 2025 start off with a huge bang.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
