Emmerdale’s Anthony is set to be murdered – and fans think they know who the killer is
Emmerdale’s Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) is set to be killed off in a dramatic murder twist next week and fans of the ITV soap think they know who the assassin is.
During Thursday’s trip to the Dales (January 16), devastated Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) continued to struggle with her daughter Steph’s (Georgia Jay) DNA results that proved Anthony is her biological dad.
She woke-up in the B&B after her husband Caleb (William Ash) kicked her out their house for lying about Steph’s paternity, and she instantly turned to alcohol.
Meanwhile, Caleb continued to reel over the news and was determined to uncover the truth behind the DNA revelation. Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) visited Caleb and disclosed that she was aware of Steph’s DNA test.
She also shared her suspicion that Ruby had been coerced into sex before her pregnancy and the situation wasn’t her fault.
Caleb managed to trick Ruby’s teenage friend Rob, played by Josh Burdett, into coming to the house under the assumption that he had raped her, following constant insinuations from Anthony.
Elsewhere, Anthony visited Ruby and watched her while she was sleeping before giving her a fright when she woke up. The father and daughter then had a huge row where Ruby confronted him over the harrowing abuse she had suffered as a teenager.
Anthony warned Ruby to keep quite about his awful behaviour, but she bravely stood up to him.
Meanwhile, Caleb aggressively confronted Rob, accusing him of being the perpetrator. Rob was taken aback by Caleb’s serious allegations, protested his innocence, and revealed that he was gay and only Ruby knew about it.
Rob further disclosed that Ruby was afraid of her father Anthony. After apologising to Rob and escorting him out, Caleb was left puzzled when Chas indicated that they now knew who Steph’s father was.
Chas expressed her belief that Ruby had been sexually abused by Anthony, and he was Steph’s father, leaving Caleb horrified. Now Emmerdale fans are predicting that Steph will kill Anthony when she discovers the truth.
Taking to X, one person wrote: “I think its going to be Steph who kills her grandfather, I think she will over hear her conception being discussed and kills him, she won’t come under suspicion because they won’t k ow she knows #Emmerdale.”
A second wrote: “I think Steph’s gonna kill him #Emmerdale”, while a third chimed in: “Wonder if Steph kills the perv it would be horrible finding out your grandad is your dad #Emmerdale.”
“They are trying to make it seem like Chas is going to kill Antony because of what happened with Gordon and Aaron. Definitely a red herring. It will be Steph #Emmerdale”, added another.
