Emmerdale fans ‘know’ who helped Joe Tate drug Noah Dingle

Emmerdale fans are certain they know who the mystery ‘doctor’ is that helped Joe Tate drug Noah Dingle.

Joe (Ned Porteous) made his dramatic return to the Dales in December, six years since his exit – and already, he has caused plenty of drama for the village residents.

However, Joe is also hiding a huge secret about his health. He has been seen taking painkillers plenty of times to ease symptoms – including chest pains. However, he has yet to share what exactly is wrong with him.

What’s more, Joe has also turned his attention to brother Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) since his return. According to Joe, he wants to build a relationship with Noah – but his mum Charity (Emma Atkins) hasn’t been having any of it and is certain he has an ulterior motive.

This week though, things took a dramatic turn when a drugged Noah was found mysteriously in the middle of the road – causing a huge limo crash. In Thursday’s episode (February 20) Noah woke up in hospital – and was told by doctors that he had likely spiked.

Noah then tried to remember what had happened, and as he tried to piece together what went down, Noah had blurry flashbacks to being in a hospital.

Two blurry figures then appeared and injected Noah with a syringe – with one appearing to be a doctor. It was then revealed that the other figure was none other than Joe.

Now, fans are certain they know who is in cahoots with Joe and is the mystery doctor. Sharing their thoughts on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote:”I knew Joe couldn’t be trusted!”

Rushing to the comments section, fans claimed the other individual could be none other than Jamie Tate (Alex Lincoln). Someone else wrote: “Joe Tate is to blame, I think the other guy was Jamie.”

A third agreed: “It’s definitely not just a doctor more to come I think!” Another also penned: “I really think it’s Jamie too! It makes sense.”

Jamie is the son of Kim Tate (Claire King) and was last seen on screen in 2021 after faking his own death in a car crash. With his mum Kim convinced he’d passed away, Jamie secretly went to live with daughter Millie and her gran.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
