Tom King’s next sly plan was revealed during the latest episode of ITV soap Emmerdale and viewers are now convinced they know who will “turn on” the village vet
Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who will be responsible for taking down Tom King and it’s not Amelia Spencer or Belle Dingle.
During Monday’s (November 4) episode of the ITV soap, Tom’s (James Chase) new plan was exposed. Fans are aware that Tom is manipulating his uncle Jimmy King (Nick Miles), hoping to maintain his sympathy amid ongoing tensions with the Dingle family.
Last week, someone vandalised Tom’s car after the police released him without charge following another interview regarding his abuse of wife Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
Things later got worse for Tom as Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) found him in a bloodied state outside the church, claiming to have been attacked He refused to go to A&E or involve the police, explaining that he didn’t see the culprit who’d targeted him.
This immediately cast a shadow of suspicion over the Dingles, who remain outraged over the lack of justice for Belle. However, the real story became clear in the closing moments of the episode as Tom headed off for a secretive meeting with his solicitor friend Ollie (Alistair Toovey)
Ollie immediately complained: “I’ve got a splinter from whacking you with that branch.” Tom quipped: “Well, I wish mine was just a splinter. But it was worth it.”
The lawyer appeared to be having doubts over the convoluted plan, telling Tom that there are easier ways for him to win sympathy. Tom replied: “Well, smashing up my car only worked a bit. And the hate messages – well, they weren’t going to cut it.”
A nervous Ollie suggested that it might be time for Tom to find a new solicitor, but Tom turned nasty and threatened to use some leverage he has over Ollie unless he carried on cooperating.
Tom suggested a “back-up plan” – legal or otherwise – in case his situation gets worse, leaving fans convinced that Ollie will end up taking him down.
Taking to social media. one fan penned: “So what’s Tom got on his lawyer friend.” Another added: “I think he’ll be the one to turn Tom in.” A third person said: “Looks like his own solicitor friend will be the one who turns on Tom.”
