Emmerdale fans are convinced they have worked out what Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) is hiding, with a theory that it’s not an affair but rather a racy secret

Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve sussed out the secret Manpreet Sharma has been keeping under wraps.

Since her arrival in the Dales back in 2018, the character portrayed by Rebecca Sarker quickly became a hit amongst fans and has been at the heart of numerous high-stakes storylines, from love life woes to battling anxiety.

However, Manpreet’s recent behaviour suggests she’s concealing something massive. Lately, her phone hasn’t stopped with messages from an unknown sender, leading to a hasty exit from a social evening after another cryptic text made her smirk.

In the episode that aired on Thursday (March 6), amid various flashback scenes during the funerals of last week’s limo crash victims, including Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), hints were dropped about Manpreet’s mysterious activities.

One particularly telling flashback showed Leyla catching a glimpse of Manpreet’s laptop screen, which seemed to contain rather suggestive material, leaving Leyla visibly taken aback. Following the day’s sad events, Manpreet was seen receiving yet another text, this time leaving her with an expression of utter dread.

The message ominously stated: “I know your dirty little secret.”, reports Leicestershire Live. Emmerdale enthusiasts have been keenly developing their own theories about Manpreet’s secret life, and the rumour mill is abuzz with speculation.

Some viewers are convinced she may be involved with a provocative adult website akin to OnlyFans. Chatting on an Emmerdale Facebook fan group, one observer speculated: “So looks like Manpreet got a secret and someone knows., I think OnlyFans maybe?”

Another fan backed this theory, noting: “That was my thought judging by the look on Leyla’s face.” A third contributor concurred: “Looked like probably an only fans type thing.” Reinforcing this line of thought, another added: “Same I’m thinking more along the lines of OnlyFans.”
