Emmerdale newcomer Jade has certainly made her mark in the village – but fans think she is hiding something.
Emmerdale fans seem to think they have worked out the true identity of newcomer Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore), and some think she knows where Rebecca ( Emily Head) really is.
In recent scenes, Jade blackmailed Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) into fighting each other for money. However, after Billy won the first fight, it seemed Jade wasn’t going to stop there.
During Tuesday’s episode, Jade had one of her employees punch Ross in the stomach and threatened him to fight Billy again.
“You could have just returned my call,” Ross said before Jade explained: “I thought you’d prefer a more personal touch.”
After being punched, Ross insisted: “Like I said in my text, I am not up for a comeback fight.”
“I lost big on that fight, you and Billy owe me,” Jade threatened. “I want it back with interest so there will be a rematch.”
As Ross argued he couldn’t do another fight because of his son, Jade hit back: “Look, you fight, and she [Charity] will stay pretty, and so will that cute kid of yours.”
“I have got a reputation to maintain,” she added.
Towards the end of the soap, Jade turned up at Billy’s house and threatened his family if he didn’t fight Ross again.
“Just show up and fight,” Jade told him. “I would hate to take your wife to a crack den and whether reacquainted but needs must, but come to think of it, your kids would make a much easier target.”
Ever since Jade arrived in the village, fans have shared their thoughts and theories about who she really is, and many think she could be linked to Rebecca, who Ross said had died.
Taking to a Facebook fan page dedicated to the soap, one fan theorised: “Maybe Jade’s got her hiding somewhere because Ross didn’t play to her rules?”
Someone else replied: “I thought the same.”
Other fans don’t think Rebecca is really dead, with one suggesting: “Rebecca’s death isn’t on the death list on the fandom page. I’ve just looked, so maybe she isn’t dead after all.”
“I think she is going to rock up at some point,” someone else said while one added: “Don’t worry, Victoria Marple is on the case.”
One fan agreed: “Nosey Victoria will find out.”
Another went on: “If she was dead for months, why would her phone have a battery and still be ringing after six months of being inactive? It cuts off.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
