Emmerdale viewers believe they’ve figured out the fate of Leyla Harding, and it doesn’t involve the impending limo crash.
Leyla, portrayed by Roxy Shahidi, first arrived in the Dales in 2008 and has since been embroiled in a variety of dramatic storylines and comedic performances. From drug use to scandalous affairs, her time in the famous village has been anything but dull.
The character was also notably shot by murderer Meena Jutla, played by Paige Sandhu. However, in October last year, reports surfaced that Leyla would meet her end in an intense exit storyline set to shock viewers.
Next week on Emmerdale, a shocking stunt is due to air when two limos, carrying 17 villagers, depart the village for a night of fun. The evening takes a deadly turn when the vehicles crash.
The women’s limo carries residents such as Leya, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). Meanwhile, the men’s limo transports characters like Caleb Miligan (William Ash) Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Paddy Kirk (Dom
inic Brunt). However, distractions cause both vehicles to veer off the road, reports Leicestershire Live. In a dramatic twist, one of the limos crashes into a frozen lake, leaving its passengers battling for survival.

On top of that, speculation is running rampant among viewers about Leyla’s fate after a car crash sets tongues wagging—some believe she might perish from the accident, yet others think they’ve pieced together the true cause of her demise.
This week’s dramatic scenes saw Leyla’s world rock as she discovered a small bag of white powder in son Jacob’s (Joe-Warren Plant) possession, sparking fears that he might be following in her troubled, drug-riddled footsteps. The fan theories are heating up online with some suggesting a potential relapse could lead to a heartbreaking overdose for Leyla.
