Now that Anthony’s real murderer has been revealed, fans think it’s only a matter of time until they are found out
Emmerdale fans think a further twist is coming after Anthony’s real murderer was revealed in the latest episode.
Over the past few episodes, fans have spent time thinking Aaron killed Anthony after he beat him following revelations about Anthony’s past sexual abuse of Ruby when she was a child. Unable to deal with it, he went to Ruby to confess.
However, Ruby told him that instead, it was her who had found him and killed him. Aaron was furious, and when Caleb walked in he became even angrier as the pair had let him believe it was Aaron who had done it.
Midway through, he threatened to tell Steph when a tearful Ruby revealed that Anthony was her real father. Shocked, he said they had to call John, who had disposed of Anthony’s body to tell him and the four agreed they needed to get their story straight.
Chas walked in and Aaron insisted the four reveal the truth to her as well.
Meanwhile, Laurel was struggling with the thought that she may have killed Anthony after hitting him over the head when he attacked Nicola. Despite Nicola’s protests, she disappeared and at the end, it was revealed that she had gone to the police to confess.
Now, fans think a further twist is coming, with some evidence of Anthony’s death still remaining somewhere.

We’ve gotten away with it Laurel: hold my drink, I’m off to the police station”. @SARamsay1 said: “It was quite laughable having Laurel going to confess that she thinks she might have killed Anthony I wonder what will happen next, seeing as Caleb, Aaron, Chas, Ruby and John are the ones who know the truth?”
