Steph, the daughter of Caleb and Ruby, appeared on the show for the first time last week
Emmerdale fans have ‘rumbled’ Caleb Dingle as he shows remorse for how he raised his daughter Steph.
Steph Miligan, the daughter of Caleb and Ruby Fox-Miligan, appeared on the show for the first time last week. During her time on the show, there has been tension between the three.
Steph, played by Georgia Jay, has been upset about her upbringing. In tonight’s episode, she confronted Ruby about sending her away to a boarding school.
Caleb, played by William Ash, later shows regret over sending her away to school and not being a good dad. Emmerdale fans were quick to ‘rumble’ Caleb’s true character.

@Informalytics said: “So Caleb’s a Yorkshireman, his missus is from middle England, their (never mentioned before) daughter presumably grew up near enough to where the Mum grew up. Where did the (runaway) son get his Geordie accent from??”
@picky737 said: “I’m fed up of this Caleb and Ruby’s daughter story already. Why do the writers think an unlikable character will keep the viewers gripped!”
@fussyMcWhiskers said: “#Emmerdale Steph did have a happy childhood, Ruby – packed away at boarding school away from you & Caleb!”
@Chris1968E said: “#Emmerdale oh p*** off Caleb with the fake tears c*** . If you’d have learnt anything you’d have quit s******* anything with a hole.
@fussyMcWhiskers said: “Caleb “It was easier to pretend she didn’t exist” Because Steph didn’t exist until a few weeks ago when you & Ruby started to talk about her.”
