Emmerdale viewers have been left fearing for April after the teen went missing at Christmas but some fans of the ITV soap think they know the real reason behind her disappearance
Emmerdale fans think they may have worked out a dark twist as April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) continues to be missing from home and no-one knows where she is. On Christmas Day, the teenager disappeared as her dad Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) discovered that she ran away from home.
Earlier in December, 15-year-old April was violently kidnapped by boxing promoter Jade’s (Twinnie Lee-Moore) thugs and was threatened with death. She then discovered the real cause of her mum’s death which sparked the teenager’s behaviour to spiral.
She was seen on Boxing Day getting into the back of a mystery vehicle. The male driver then drove off to an unknown location as she reflectively looked out of the window without muttering a word.
Meanwhile, Marlon tracked down Jade to find out if she knew where April was and informed the police. The whole village has since come together to form a search party.
While searching for clues as to where April could be, police discovered contraceptive pills in her bedroom which has sparked concern among Emmerdale fans, who think she may be pregnant and has consequently run away from home in fear.
They also think April’s close pal Arthur Thomas (Alfie Clarke) could be the father, as viewers have recently seen the pair confide in each other.
Taking to Reddit, one Emmerdale fan asked: “April pregnant?” While a second replied: “I’d rather she was pregnant with someone like Arthur.”
They added: “Think it could be a weird/interesting storyline if they’d for some reason experimented together while she was off the rails and he for some reason agreed to try with a girl lol before realising nah he’s not into her.”
A third chimed in: “No idea, but I do like the mystery and the fact that stuff has obviously happened off screen. We don’t know what the hell has happened, and it makes for interesting viewing. Normally they just make it obvious up front with the writing, so it’s a nice surprise.”
On X, another asked: “April went out for a bit……….Is she going to be pregnant next then? #Emmerdale.”
