There will be some changes to when you can catch Emmerdale on ITV1 over the New Year week

Emmerdale are being warned of upcoming schedule changes.

Thankfully, fans will be relieved to know this time football coverage isn’t impacting Emmerdale airings. Instead, it is the festive season.

ITV has announced that both Emmerdale and rival soap Coronation Street will move in the schedule over the New Year celebrations. It is fair to say it has been a busy Christmas in the Emmerdale village.

Joe Tate returned to the soap to the surprise of many viewers. Sadly, character Will Taylor died.

Monday, December 30 – 7.30pm to 8pm
Tuesday, December 31 – 7.45pm to 8.15pm
Wednesday, January 1 – 6.30pm to 7pm
Thursday, January 2 – 7pm to 8pm
Friday, January 3 – 7.30pm to 8pm
Of course, each morning the latest episode of Emmerdale does drop on ITVx, if you just can’t wait.
