Emmerdale viewers have been left fearing the ‘worst’ for character Nate Robinson after he left the village and has failed to contact Tracy to confirm he arrived at his new job
Emmerdale’s Nate Robinson, portrayed by Jurell Carter, has shockingly disappeared from the village, leaving fans stunned and sparking theories that he hasn’t actually reached his new job in Shetland.
On the ITV soap, farmer Nate was last seen over a week ago, following his announcement to move to Shetland after patching things up with his estranged wife Tracy (Amy Walsh) for a fresh start together on the Scottish island.
Yet Nate faced a brutal attack from his father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) who mistakenly believed Nate was having an affair with Cain’s wife Moira (Natalie Robb).
Following the assault, an injured Nate planned to confront Moira at the farm but was intercepted by fresh face John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) who persuaded him to reconsider.
Amidst these dramatic events, disaster struck as a fire ravaged one of Moira’s barns, resulting in injuries after an explosion, reports Leeds Live.
Determined to leave past conflicts behind, Nate declared his intention to head off to his new role in Shetland alone.
Cain was left reeling upon discovering that Moira’s advances towards Nate were driven by her brain tumour diagnosis, leading him to desperately attempt to reach out to Nate. Yet, since Nate’s departure, there’s been radio silence.
Concern is growing amongst Emmerdale viewers about Nate’s wellbeing as he has not been in contact to confirm his safe arrival in Shetland.
A fan took to X, pointing out the eerie silence: “Something going on with Nate. Nobody can get hold of him but text messages. He seems kidnapped. #Emmerdale.”
Echoing the concerns of fellow viewers, one person remarked: “So no one finds it strange that Nate hasn’t contacted anyone!?”, while another added their voice to the chorus: “Still waiting to find out where Nate is….”
One fan speculated: “I don’t know what’s happened, but Nate’s exit was very strange, John is acting way too shifty and Moira could have done ANYTHING in the state she was in. Even shot her stepson..”
Raising a chilling possibility, another viewer questioned: “Is Nate really still alive or is he dead somewhere and someone has got his phone…..”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour long episode every Thursday
