Emmerdale fans ‘solve’ who missing tooth really belongs to – and it’s not Anthony

Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve worked out who the bloody missing tooth belongs to in a dramatic murder twist after a series of flash forward scenes

Emmerdale viewers reckon they’ve sussed out who the lost tooth belongs to – and it’s not Anthony Fox.

This week in the Dales, the locals were left reeling by a massive murder mystery. As fans will remember, the ill Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) turned up in the village hoping to patch things up with his estranged daughter Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).

But it later came to light that Anthony had sexually abused and raped Ruby when she was just a teen. Ruby kept her father’s vile deeds a secret – but wasn’t sure if he was the dad of her daughter Steph (Georgia Jay).

Ruby ended up taking a DNA test which confirmed Anthony was the biological father in a shocking twist. Ruby then confessed the truth to Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and her sister-in-law Chas (Lucy Pargeter).

And this week, Anthony met his end as his ‘true’ nature is finally starting to be revealed. But at the start of Monday’s episode (January 20), things took a seriously dramatic turn when the soap showed a chilling flash forward, reports Leeds Live.

In the eerie scene, a bloody human tooth could be seen on the floor of Caleb’s depot. Later, another flash forward revealed an unconscious Anthony lying in a pool of blood. And while many fans think the tooth is Anthony’s – other viewers aren’t so sure.

Fans have taken to the internet to share their theories, and there’s a creeping suspicion that none other than Nate Robinson (played by Jurell Carter) could be the one in trouble. Loyal viewers will remember that Nate waved goodbye to the village back in September, choosing to up sticks to Shetland.

But his departure raised eyebrows, with many fans doubting that Nate had truly left the Dales speculating that he was actually murdered. Back then, murmurs among the fanbase suggested he may have been embroiled in a barn fire. And now, the plot has thickened as viewers are utterly convinced that he met his maker and that the mystery bloody tooth belongs to him.

In a flurry of excitement on an Emmerdale Facebook fan group, reacting to what can only be described as a “full-on” episode, one person wrote: “I really think the tooth is Nate’s…” Another chimed in: “Could be! He went several months ago and hasn’t been heard from since….” Yet another fan declared: “That would be some twist!”

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
