Emmerdale fans convinced two characters will be ‘killed off’ as ITV issues warning to viewers

Viewers saw Tom King attempt to flee the country in Thursday evening’s episode of Emmerdale

Emmerdale fans are convinced two characters will be ‘killed off’ in shock scenes.

The Emmerdale village were left to come to terms with Tom’s terrible behaviour to Belle with his horrible actions finally out in the open. Viewers saw Jimmy have a face-off with Tom.

The abuser tried to talk his way out of his actions he inflicted on Belle. Lying, Tom claimed: “The truth is Belle is seriously unwell and I did everything I could to help her.”

Things turned heated during the discussion. Jimmy did not believe what Tom was saying to him.

“I stood by you and gave you the benefit of the doubt despite everybody telling me I was wrong,” Jimmy said, to the point. “You are no longer welcome in this house.”

Later, Jimmy went to see Belle to finally understand her side of the story. Before leaving, Jimmy’s wife Nicola said: “There’s only two people who know what really happened…and you are not going to get the truth out of Tom.”

During Jimmy’s meeting with Belle, he told her that he was ‘done’ with Tom. Ahead of the Thursday evening episode of Emmerdale, viewers were given a warning.

The continuity announcer said: “With strong language and scenes of coercive and controlling behaviour that some viewers might find disturbing.”

Elsewhere, Ella discovered the blossoming relationship between Liam and Chas. It is fair to say she wasn’t happy. Eric and Brenda held an engagement party where many villagers came to congratulate the couple.

Although with reports of Lesley Dunlop, who plays Brenda, and Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla, leaving Emmerdale some viewers have presented their theories.

On X, we saw @EveSukiEE post: “I bet something happens to Brenda since she’s leaving soon and/or to Leyla since she’s getting killed off.” Another viewer @Reeceyboy2591 commented: “Guessing Brenda doesn’t come back #Emmerdale.”

Other Emmerdale viewers were surprised to see some blasts from the past on screen. We saw @LoveSoapsntv state: “So many people on screen in this that we haven’t seen in months #Emmerdale.”

While @penniless_poet added: “Rodders putting in his five minutes. Dressed rather nattily as well #Emmerdale.” Another fan @ASuperGav posted: “Welcome, Rodders, to your two lines of the week #Emmerdale.”

Thursday’s episode concluded with Tom attempting to flee the country to Saudi Arabia. Only to be arrested as Belle caught Tom in a trap.
