Emmerdale fans call out ‘unforgivable blunder’ as suspicions build over possible village killer

Many Emmerdale fans were left asking ‘why?’ on Tuesday evening

Emmerdale fans have called out a perceived blunder during the deeply emotional scenes which saw Will Taylor put to rest.

During Tuesday night’s edition of Emmerdale, Will’s daughter Dawn was still trying to come to terms with father’s death and the video which has emerged suggesting his wife Kim planned to kill him.

Dawn sought out Ross who she believed was involved in the plot. Ross said: “Dawn, I’m sorry for your loss. If I was you, I’d forget about that video. Go and bury your dad.”

There wasn’t a huge turnout for Will’s funeral. It led to Nicola to comment: “Will wasn’t a big turnout kind of bloke.”

During the service, Dawn confronted step mum Kim about her suspicions. Elsewhere, the search for missing April continued while Anthony confided in Caleb that his cancer diagnosis is getting worse – at a rapid rate.

Anthony said: “I’m going to meet my maker sooner than I thought.” Despite all this, there was something else which got a lot of Emmerdale fans talking on X…namely the many Christmas decorations still being up in the village.

We saw @athole52 post:” I see all the Christmas decorations are all still up on the 14th day of Christmas!!!! #emmerdale.” While @CaptMagenta added: “Why has everyone still got the Christmas decorations up? #Emmerdale.”

Another viewer @M_Occomore wrote: “@RyanTheSoapking Christmas Decorations still up across the village and houses. It’s past 12th night #Emmerdale @emmerdale.”

Fan @Surfingspaniel asked: “Were we supposed to get some extra episodes over Christmas and then they didn’t show them? Why else would the decorations still be up #Emmerdale.” While @emmerdaleswatson2 said: “Christmas decorations are still up in Emmerdale. Unforgivable blunder. Bad luck all year!”
