Emmerdale double exit as fans ‘work out’ when Tom King will die after ‘downfall sealed’

During Friday night’s Emmerdale, Cain Dingle finally discovered how Tom King was treating is little sister Belle – and he was left fuming.

Emmerdale fans think Tom King’s (played by James Chase) downfall is looming following Friday night’s dramatic showdown. Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) finally told Charity (Emma Atkins) about how Tom had been treating her, which led to the landlady informing Cain (Jeff Hordley).

As Cain was enjoying a pint in the pub, Charity ordered him to come to her house to talk, and as she told him it was about Belle, she warned: “But Tom cannot know, ok? Not yet.”

Later on in the programme, an emotional Charity asked Cain: “Why didn’t we see it? Why did we believe him when he said it was all her?”

“Just tell me she is safe,” Cain pleaded and as Charity nodded, he continued: “Ok that’s good, now just talk to me, Charity. For god’s sake tell me!”

“You have to swear to me because despite how much we want to, we can’t kill him,” Charity explained. As Cain questioned why they’d want to kill him, Charity elaborated: Tom has been hurting her, tracking her, spying on her, making her feel like dirt, it is mental and physical, punching her, scolding her hands.”

Charity proceeded to scream: “No” as Cain jumped out of his seat. “No, no, do you not think I wanted to have a go at him myself in the pub? Because then we will be doing to him what he has been doing to her all along!”

“We have only had to hear this, ok, she has had to live it. So we are going to do exactly what she wants us to do and nothing else, do you understand?”

After their chat, Cain went to reassure Belle that they believed everything she’d said about Tom.

However, as the mechanic headed back to the garage, he passed Tom in the street and the vet looked petrified. Will Cain keep his word and hold from killing or hurting Tom or will his anger get the better of him?

“Tom. Dead. Man. Walking. Brilliant,” one fan wrote.

Someone else said: “Nervous Tom? Well, you should be, You’re going to need to keep awake, they’re coming for you.”

A third wrote: “Your days are numbered now Tom Charity and Cain are on the case.”

“Tom’s downfall officially starts here, messing with the Dingles? Otherwise known as signing his death warrant in other words. Totally s**t himself when Cain walked past, thinks he’s untouchable but he’s defo underestimating Mama bear Charity & protective Big Bro Cain,” another theorised.

A fifth agreed: “Tom gets fired from the Vets!! Your downfall is happening!!!” (sic)

“Could Cain kill Tom?!!! #Emmerdale,” one fan quizzed while another pleaded: “I really want Cain to respect Belle’s wishes but I also want him to kill Tom… #Emmerdale.” (sic)
