Emmerdale Dawn’s real baby’s father ‘revealed’ in pregnancy twist after Joe Tate affair

Emmerdale’s Dawn Taylor is set for a ‘who’s the daddy’ storyline, according to fans

Emmerdale fans are predicting a shock pregnancy storyline for Dawn Taylor following her Joe Tate affair.

The villager (Olivia Bromley) made her debut on the soap back in 2018. And it’s fair to say she’s played a part in several big storylines over the years.

From drug abuse to the shock leukaemia diagnosis of her child Evan, Dawn’s time in the Dales has not been short of drama. Especially in recent months, as at Christmastime, her father Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) had a heart attack and died.

His death left Dawn devastated, and in a shocking twist, she went and drugged her stepmum Kim Tate (Claire King) thinking she had something to do with her dad dying.

She didn’t, and Kim and Dawn have since moved on – with Dawn now working for Kim, along with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) who recently returned to the Dales after six years.

However, earlier this month, Dawn shocked fans when she cheated on husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) with Joe. The pair kissed – and Dawn insisted it couldn’t happen again.

Fast forward to Wednesday’s episode (January 22) though, and Dawn and Joe ended up sleeping together. Dawn was left fuming with herself after their sexual encounter, while Joe meanwhile appeared to be smitten.

Nonetheless, Dawn was adamant it was a one-time thing and pleaded with Joe not to tell Billy, in which he agreed not to. But now, fans are convinced a ‘who’s the daddy’ storyline involving Dawn is set to rock the village.

Fans have predicted a pregnancy twist

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote: “ So when will Dawn find out she’s pregnant then?” Someone else chimed in: “Oh ffs not another one.”

Sharing their thoughts on the potential father, a third fan declared: “Definitely Joe is the dad.” Echoing their thoughts, another mused: “I bet it will be Joe.” A fifth wrote: “Probably! Poor Billy, he needs her gone!”

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
