Emmerdale Tom King could be getting killed off in a shock twist according to fans
Emmerdale has appeared to confirm how Tom King is getting killed off in a huge twist.
The soap baddie, played by James Chase, has caused plenty of drama in the last year. Fans will recall how he verbally and physically abused his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for months.
As well as lashing out at her, Tom also abused her beloved dog Piper, before making Belle think the pup was dead – only for it to be alive.
Fortunately, Belle ended things and revealed the truth to her family, desperate to escape Tom’s clutches. However, Tom has not made things easy for Belle, determined to never let her go.
With her mental health spiralling, Belle checked herself into a mental health secure unit last month. Meanwhile, Tom is slowly being unmasked as the true psychopath he is. And during the soap this week, things took a dramatic turn for Tom.
Despite staging attacks on himself in a bid to gain sympathy, nobody seemed to care. In Tuesday’s episode (November 5) Tom attended the fireworks display outside the pavilion, with the rest of the village, declaring he would not be intimidated.
However, Tom was fuming when he realised that the ‘Guy’ being thrown on the fire by the Dingles looked just like him. Things turned tense as the villagers watched the Guy burn. What’s more, Tom then confronted the Dingles and each of them claimed to be responsible for making the ‘Guy’. An intimated Tom walked away but lost his cool and lashed out at his girlfriend Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell).
However, fans are certain that the soap has dropped a huge clue as to how Tom will die, following reports that actor James Chase has left the soap. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “Tom’s face when he realised it was him on the bonfire!” Someone else mused: “Did Emmerdale just hint that Tom’s going to die in a fire?”
A third also said: “I thought this too!” A fourth penned: “Yep! Hopefully, he’ll burn to death.” Another person mused: “Maybe they’ll do a Coronation Street & someone’ll bump him off & we’ll spend until Xmas guessing whodunnit!” Another said: “I see a whodunnit coming soon.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
