Emmerdale Caleb’s new romance ‘revealed’ after Ruby affair exposed – and it’s soap favourite

Emmerdale fans are certain Caleb Miligan is set for a new romance after he found out about wife Ruby Miligan-Fox and Caleb Dingle’s affair.

Last year, Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and Cain (Jeff Hordley) shocked fans when they slept together. At the time, Cain’s wife Moira (Natalie J. Robb) was having an operation for her brain tumour.

Ruby meanwhile, was struggling with the arrival of her estranged father Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) – with it later being that he revealed he raped her as a teenager and is the father of her daughter Steph (Georgia Jay).

Since their shock sexual encounter, Ruby and Cain have continued to spiral, riddled with guilt while keeping their tryst under wraps. However, Anthony later found out about the pair.

And during Tuesday’s (January 21) dramatic episode, the truth was revealed to Caleb during a showdown with Anthony.

After finding out that Anthony is Steph’s father, Caleb was out for revenge. At Moira’s farm, he held Anthony at gunpoint and threatened to kill him unless he confessed to his sick crimes.

However, Anthony ended up revealing to Caleb that Ruby and Cain slept together – leaving Caleb stunned by the revelation. Anthony then made a grab for Caleb’s gun and a gunshot could be heard before the episode ended.

And now that Caleb knows the truth about Ruby and Cain, viewers have already ‘worked out’ his new romance – and she’s a familiar face.

“Will Caleb believe Anthony that Cain had one night stand with Ruby????” said one person on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page.

Someone else added: “I think with how vulnerable Ruby is feeling right now she will confess if he confronts her.” A third chimed in and put forward Ella Forster (Paula Lana) as Caleb’s new love interest. They penned: “Hopefully Caleb moves on! I can see him with Ella.” A third wrote: “I’ve always thought this! They’d make a good couple”.
