Emmerdale viewers are certain Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) is set for a new romance amid his wife Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) shock affair.
Billy arrived in the famous Dales back in December 2018 and has since become a family man. In recent years, Billy had his disastrous wedding to Dawn, was devastated when their son Evan was diagnosed leukaemia and also got caught up in illegal boxing.
Over the past few weeks, Dawn has been cheating on Billy with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) – who returned at Christmas. Last week, Dawn tried to resist the temptation of Joe the pair shared another kiss while in her young son’s bedroom.
While fans think Dawn and Joe are going to get caught up in a full-on sordid affair, some viewers are predicting romance is also on the cards for Billy.
In an attempt to make an honest living away from illegal boxing, Billy is working at Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) depot and appears to be getting closer to Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton).
Kerry also works at the warehouse and has been a staple on screens since her debut in 2012 – and it didn’t take her long to become a firm favourite with Emmerdale viewers.
Taking to social media, soap fans have been predicting a new romance between Billy and Kerry.
Taking to X, one person wrote: “Kerry & Billy are actually a pretty good duo together #Emmerdale.”
A second urged: “Dawn’s affair with Joe continues. Billy you really do deserve better #Emmerdale.”
On Facebook, another predicted: “I think Kerry and Billy”, while another added: “Calling it now, Kerry and Billy affair.”
