EastEnders viewers think romance is on the horizon for Ravi Gulati amid a difficult week for the character on the BBC soap, but it might not be with Denise Fox or his ex Priya Nandra-Hart

There could be a new “power couple” set to rise on EastEnders at some point in the near future according to fans.

Viewers are convinced Ravi Gulati will feature in a new romance storyline, amid his love triangle with Denise Fox who has feelings for both Ravi and her ex Jack Branning. But despite hopes from some fans that Ravi might reunite with his ex Priya Nandra-Hart, another potential love interest has been thrown into the mix.

Despite ongoing scenes on the show, some viewers are convinced it won’t be Denise or Priya who Ravi ends up with. In fact, after a scene with Ravi and Stacey Slater this week, some fans believe the pair could end up together.

While Stacey will be leaving the BBC soap at some point, with actress Lacey Turner heading off on maternity leave, could we see Ravi and Stacey unite further down the line? Taking to X one fan suggested: “Interesting we had quite a few Ravi and Stacey scenes today. Maybe…”

Another viewer said: “Literally said to my mum last night ‘yk what, Stace and Ravi would be a power couple’.” A third fan agreed: “Yano what let’s wake this up because lest we forget Ravi’s first scene on Albert Square,” referencing the pair flirting in his first episode.

The comments kept on coming too, with one reading: “Why do I sense a Ravi and Stacey relationship?” as another said: “I thought that too! Stavi.” A further tweet read: “Ravi and Stacey?!” followed by one that read: “Right I don’t care about Raviya or Ravise(?) I need Stace and Ravi to get together.”

It comes following Ravi killing his father Nish Panesar in a dramatic showdown this week, after being taunted by the villain. Ravi had tried to stop Nish hurting his ex Suki Panesar, with Nish planning to kill both her and her new wife Eve on their wedding day.

Nish had one last grim plan up his sleeve though, taunting Ravi enough so that he’d lose it and shove him off a balcony. That wasn’t all though, as he grabbed onto Suki’s dress so that when Ravi shoved him, she would fall with him.

His plan went as he hoped with Ravi pushing Nish over the top, with Suki then being dragged off too – leaving Ravi traumatised by what he’d done. Suki thankfully survived, while Nish was killed as he hit the ground below.
