EastEnders spoilers have teased one character grows suspicious of Reiss Colwell next week as Sonia Fowler and Jack Branning question Bianca Jackson’s confession
There could be a downfall on the cards for killer Reiss Colwell on EastEnders, as someone makes it clear they don’t believe his claims.
With his pregnant fiancée Sonia Fowler finally released and free to go after months in prison, over the murder of Reiss’ wife Debbie, Reiss has some explaining to do. Sonia is concerned for her missing sister Bianca Jackson who vanished weeks ago, while no one else seems worried.
Fans know that she’s been kidnapped by Reiss who is holding her hostage in a storage unit. No one has found her so far despite weeks of her being trapped, and Bianca has failed to get out of there.
In the latest turn of events, Reiss forced Bianca to confess to Debbie’s murder in a recent episode to get Sonia freed. Instead of just confessing his crime to save his pregnant wife-to-be, he’s instead stayed quiet and targeted Bianca who found out the truth weeks ago.
Reiss had agreed to finally let Bianca go on the condition she confessed to the crime to help her sister. Bianca did exactly this, speaking on video to reveal she was the culprit – with Reiss claiming to have physical evidence as well as Bianca’s word.
Of course with Sonia released and allowed to go home, Reiss went back on his word and told Bianca she was going nowhere. Next week though Reiss’ downfall looms.

Sonia refuses to believe her sister is guilty of the crime, and Reiss does his best to stop her questioning the confession. She’s determined to speak to the CPS though to get a copy of the ‘confession’.
Reiss urges her to let it go, claiming that for their unborn baby’s sake she needs to move on. Sonia isn’t ready to drop it though, and a conversation with her uncle Jack Branning only raises her suspicions.
Jack gives Sonia reason to consider Reiss might not be being totally honest with her about everything. He provides her with some intel and soon Sonia is confronting her fiancé.
Reiss is one step ahead though, and he soon manipulates Sonia with a clever explanation about whatever it is Jack knows. He guilt trips Sonia over her lack of belief in him, with her left feeling bad for questioning his motives.
But soon enough someone else questions Reiss, and it isn’t Sonia or Jack. Knowing the character, it could be the person who exposes Reiss for once and for all, and it’s not Bianca.
Sonia and Bianca’s cousin Lauren Branning heads to Sonia’s home and casts doubt on Reiss’ claims, calling him dishonest. As she shares her thoughts on Bianca’s confession, Sonia defends her man – but will Lauren end up cracking the case and exposing Reiss for once and for all?
