Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) is set to ruin Christmas in dramatic EastEnders scenes next month.
It was only a matter of time…
The fling began when Cindy tried to win back her ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon), despite supposedly being in a committed relationship with her first husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
She’s even confessed her love to George on more than one occasion, and the pair kissed.
Despite that, she’d bedded her former step-son Junior numerous times, almost being caught by several of their family members.
There’s only David Wicks (Michael French) who knows the truth, after discovering them snogging as he exited Walford. Cindy begged him not to say anything – and before he left, she kissed him too!
Oh Cindy, never change…
Little did either of them know, Freddie Slater’s (Bobby Brazier) bird-recording dictaphone had recorded their entire conversation.
We can now reveal that both the Beale and Knight families are about to experience festivities that they will never forget, when the affair is exposed in spectacular style on Christmas Day.
The tape will be played for all to hear, as Cindy details every shocking moment of the last year – from her adoration for George, to her scandalous bedroom antics with Junior.
Who has got their hands on the evidence, or is it Freddie himself who delivers the present that nobody wants?
This is giving us serious flashbacks to both Sharongate in 1994, and the incriminating DVD footage that showed Max Branning (Jake Wood) kissing Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) in 2007.
All hell will break loose in the two households, with enough fury and accusations to make you choke on your turkey!
With Cindy left with nowhere to hide, what will this mean for her future?
Elsewhere in The Square, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) experiences a very different day to the one she had last year, when an unlikely gift-bearer presents her with a surprise and unexpected present.
Whilst old feelings resurface for some, ghosts of Christmas past return to haunt another resident.
There’s one thing for sure – EastEnders really know how to serve up some delicious yuletide action!
It will also provide a perfect lead-in to the 40th Anniversary Celebrations in February…
