Bianca has grown determined to figure out what Reiss is hiding from her in EastEnders, convinced he has murdered his wife Debbie. But two characters may be several steps ahead.

Reiss Colwell is moments away from being exposed as a murderer as two characters could be on to him.

The accountant played by Jonny Freeman returned to Albert Square this Monday in EastEnders, November 4, after David Wicks recommended him to take a break from Walford, leaving a suspicious Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) alone at No.25. But upon his return to Walford, he was confronted by Sonia’s sister as well as Martin Fowler (James Bye).

Later on in the BBC One soap, Reiss was thrown when Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) told him that his private investigator had access to CCTV footage, a piece of incriminating evidence which places Reiss at the hospital on the day of Debbie’s murder, July 24, 2024.

Reiss first had to defend himself during a chat with Martin in the Queen Vic as the pair of men discussed their involvement in the Save Our Sonia campaign (SOS). And Martin deemed Reiss was not pulling his weight. Once he guaranteed Martin he was completely dedicated to the cause, Reiss found Teddy and urged him to accompany him to his investigator’s warehouse.

Later scenes showed Reiss finding a USB drive and watching CCTV footage for the day of Debbie’s death, which led him to realise he appeared very clearly on camera. Knowing this could seal his fate and be enough to send him to prison, Reiss snatched the device and made a swift exit.

Reiss tried hard to keep his actions under wraps, while Bianca kept a close eye on him. After deleting the incriminating footage, the accountant made sure nothing could be linked back to him and stomped on the USB drive, completely destroying it. Unfortunately for him, Teddy spilled the beans to Bianca, furiously telling her that Reiss made a runner from the warehouse and he had stolen the device from his pal’s warehouse.

This Monday’s trip to the Square ended with Bianca rushing back to No.25 to demand answers from a panicked Reiss who immediately closed the door, locking her outside. While fans are certain Bianca will be the one to expose Reiss’ actions, and more particularly Debbie’s murder, Martin and Teddy could be another set of residents who will turn their back on Reiss. Could they team up to figure out what Reiss is hiding?

Martin was previously married to Sonia and the pair even share a daughter, Bex, meaning he could be willing to do anything to keep her safe. Teddy, on the other hand, is another resourceful member of the Mitchell family and has kept Reiss under his thumb after settling his debt with Phil Mitchell – could he get to the bottom of things by playing with Reiss’ nerves?

While this remains to be seen, Bianca’s eagerness to expose Reiss may be enough for Sonia to be released from prison. Could she find the USB drive and send the evidence over to the authorities to finally crack the case?
