Denise Fox (Diane Parish) placed The Six’s killer secret in fresh jeopardy in Friday’s EastEnders after making a shock confession to Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
The character has been on edge since learning Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) had escaped from prison, worried he would seek revenge on The Six and walk back on his agreement to take the rap for Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder.
On Thursday, Denise was shaken when two masked men burst into the salon claiming Nish had sent them, when in actuality, they were two lads who had been trolling Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) at school.
As we paid another visit to Walford, fans saw Avani admit she had put a post on social media about her new job at the salon, which led the trolls to her.
Denise freaked out that Nish could have also seen the post and then sacked Avani.
After an upset Avani ran into her dad Ravi and filled him in on what happened, he went to confront Denise at the salon, only to find her having a panic attack.
Ravi was confused when, in a panic, she claimed that Nish was ‘coming for her’ and Denise tried to explain it away.
But when he pushed further for the truth, Denise brought up the fact Ravi was a killer, having murdered his adopted father Ranveer Gulati (Anil Goutam) back in 2022, noting: ‘You never know what you can do in the heat of the moment…’
Asked what she had done ‘in the heat of the moment’, a distraught Denise then revealed she was the one who’d hit Nish over the head in The Vic on Christmas Day as she tried to stop him from attacking Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Ravi was stunned into silence as she also revealed how The Six had framed the late Keanu for Nish’s attack, and Ravi walked out of the salon in a state of shock.
What will he do with this information? And is The Six’s secret under threat once more?
EastEnders continues on Monday at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
