EastEnders fans have shared a new theory, not convinced Gina Knight is telling the truth about what she’s hiding on the BBC soap – with a possible pregnancy plot

There could be a new baby twist looming on EastEnders, with a new theory teasing a major storyline.

Fans are convinced there is more to Gina Knight’s recent odd behaviour, and she might be hiding a big secret. This week there was a shock in store, as Gina revealed what she was hiding about the night Cindy Beale was attacked.

As she fell under suspicion over the attack after being named as the person who threw a brick through the window of the house Cindy was staying in, she was accused of being the one who tried to kill her on Christmas Day. But soon Gina confessed what was really going on and what she was yet to disclose.

Fans are actually under the impression there’s more to the scenes with Harry Mitchell, with him blackmailing her for cash. It appeared he was threatening to expose her actions with the brick, with Gina silencing him with money.

It was after this that Gina made the confession she had slept with Freddie Slater, the love interest of her sister Anna Knight. This is why she was being secretive and hiding her whereabouts over Christmas, and being weird around her sister.

But not everyone believes her about Freddie, and some don’t believe the Harry story. Some fans think she’s slept with both men, while others think nothing happened with Freddie.

Either way, fans are wondering if a baby plot is on the way with Gina about to discover she’s pregnant. Could she be set for a paternity twist plot, unaware of who the father is?

Fans certainly think so, with one taking to X and sharing: “Hear me out… what if Gina is pregnant with Freddie’s child? Or there’s a who’s the daddy storyline between Harry and Freddie?

“This could be why Gina feels ashamed to say anything. Harry could be asking Gina for money to pay for her silence.” More about Gina and Freddie’s fling is set to be revealed this week, with Anna no doubt set to be heartbroken by the betrayal between her sister and her lover just as she and Freddie found themselves back on track.

The mystery still continues though as to who really attacked Cindy and why, with the truth set to be confirmed during the 40th anniversary week. Some fans think Anna could be the attacker, or perhaps she is covering for someone close to home after she was shown washing blood off of her hands, with her also hiding the shovel that was likely used.
