As Walford gears up for Christmas 2024, the events of last year are still haunting The Six in EastEnders.

While Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been abusing alcohol to cope with her guilt of killing Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), there’s terror for Denise Fox (Diane Parish) later this month, who looks set to make a shock confession.

Following Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) escape from prison, the women are on edge, as he had previously agreed to take the fall for them in a deal with ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).

In scenes to air on Wednesday 18 December, Denise gets word from ex-husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) that there has been a reported sighting of Nish from an anonymous caller.

Not long after, Denise is in the salon with Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) – who she’s given a casual job to – when two masked men break in claiming that Nish sent them. 

The pair are terrified as they are caught up in a huge ordeal. 

Avani is later comforted by her dad Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who goes to confront Denise. 

But when he arrives at the salon, Ravi finds her having a panic attack. 

After calming her down, he quizzes her on why she is so frightened of Nish coming back.

Shaken and upset, will Denise let the truth slip to her former flame?
