EastEnders airs a shocking development on Monday (January 27) when an unexpected suspect is revealed after Cindy’s horror attack – and it’s one of her own children
EastEnders spoilers show a major new turn in the Cindy Beale attack case, which will premiere in tonight’s episode (January 27).
At the beginning of the year, Cindy moved in with Reiss following the brutal attack as the Beale’s lost trust with her. However, she received a shocked with a brick was thrown through her window with a strange note attached.
Upon reading the note, it detailed a threat that claimed that she should have remained dead. Since then, Cindy has moved back in with Ian, though the Knights were concerned about his motivations.
However, it has now been revealed who sent the threatening message – and what it might mean for Cindy going forwards.

A whodunnit? storyline is currently being explored. Ian, George, Anna and Lauren have so far been accused, with Lauren being taken in for questioning by police.
In Monday’s episode, Anna continued to be suspicious of Gina, especially when her sister rushed off to have another secret chat with Harry. Previously George and Elaine discovered a bloody shovel in the Vic’s storeroom. Anna, claiming she was innocent, turned her attention to Gina.
In the café, Anna revealed suspicions, but Gina snapped at her when she tried to pry about who she was with on the evening of Christmas Day. We also saw Gina send a few ‘back off’ comments at Harry, showing the pair have a secret.
Meanwhile, Jack told Cindy that the CPS had dropped the charges against Lauren. She was shocked, and continued to stress that she believes Lauren attacked her.

Not backing down, Anna confronted Harry, but he claims there’s nothing going on between him and Gina.
Later on, Anna told Junior her suspicions about Gina, and he was determined to investigate further. They spotted Gina and Harry heading off together and decided to follow them.
They managed to corner the pair, and overheard Harry demanding money from Gina, but the pair were confronted by Anna and Junior, who forced them to reveal the truth.
Back in the pub, Junior told everyone what he had just found out – that it was Gina who threw the brick through the window. But suspicions are still up in the air that Junior could be lying.
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am
