As the grand finale of Dancing On Ice 2025 draws close, a winner may have already been ‘exposed’, that’s if it’s going to be anything like how the past series have fallen
The winner of Dancing On Ice will be announced this weekend – but the big news may have arrived a little early…
Ahead of Sunday’s Dancing on Ice final, Coronation Street star Sam Aston, who is partnered with pro Molly Lanaghan, is set to defy the odds and take home the coveted trophy, according to a Supercomputer.
The BonusCodeBets.co.uk Supercomputer, analysed the key traits of all 16 previous champions to predict this year’s winner, suggests that Aston will beat the bookies favourite Michaela Strachan, leaving her hopes on thin ice.
Corrie star Sam Aston most closely meets the Supercomputer’s description of a typical winner, as almost half of previous winners (47%) have been actors.

This prediction contradicts bookies who back wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan to win the show this year.
Ahead of this Sunday’s Dancing on Ice final, Coronation Street actor Sam Aston is predicted to skate past the odds and take home the lucrative trophy, according to a Supercomputer.
The BonusCodeBets.co.uk Supercomputer has glided through the data, analysing the key traits of all 16 past champions to predict this year’s winner. And in a surprise twist, it looks like Aston could skate circles around the bookies’ favourite, Michaela Strachan, leaving her hopes on thin ice!

The Supercomputer, which had Aston’s victory in its sights from the very start of the show in January, found that soap star Sam will be the eighth actor to win the show – following in the footsteps of former co-star and 2024 winner, Ryan Thomas.
Currently priced at 13/8, the bookies see Burnley-born Sam Aston as the second favourite to skate to victory, with English television presenter Michaela Strachan as the favoured contestant (8/13).
Best known for her work on Springwatch, Strachan is aiming to shake up the competition and become the first woman to claim victory since Beth Tweddle in 2013.
Former centre-back Anton Ferdinand is still in the mix and will be looking to add the skating award to his Championship Play-Off Final trophy – becoming only the third sportsperson to take home the gold.
A spokesperson for BonusCodeBets.co.uk said: “We’ve cracked the Dancing on Ice winning formula – just the right blend of soap star charm and enough skating skill to stay upright (most of the time). So, it’s no shocker we’re backing Corrie’s Sam Aston to waltz off with the trophy in this weekend’s grand finale.
“Mark our words: this year’s trophy is basically engraved already… Probably!”
