Kit Green is making a new home for himself in Weatherfield after getting Nathan banged up for Lauren’s disappearance, but is he about to be exposed?
Coronation Street is set to air a twist in next week’s episodes of the ITV soap as the mystery surrounding newcomer Kit Green gets the attention of one Weatherfield resident. Bernie Winter recently discovered she had been duped by her long-lost son Kit, who she reunited with after decades apart.
Kit harbors resentment towards his biological mother for abandoning him in his youth and is trying to turn her other children, Gemma Winter, and Paul Foreman, against her.
Earlier this year, Kit, a police officer, planted missing Lauren Bolton’s DNA to frame Nathan Curtis, leading to his arrest, while the real culprit Joel Deering remains free.
Last week, Kit secretly collaborated with criminal Sid and his illicit counterfeit T-shirt business, promising silence in exchange for half the profits.
But is Kit’s real character about to be exposed? It appears Daniel Osbourne has suspicions about the bent copper.
At the start of week, Daisy Midgeley is furious when Ryan Connor would rather spend his night off with Kit instead of her.
But later in the week DS Swain’s dedication to get to the bottom of who tried to murder Lauren continues following the birth of her baby boy Frankie.
Joel is the baby’s father but has so far has got away with abusing Lauren, and even making her go into labour early after spiking her food with pills.

DS Swain hauls Sarah Platt in for questioning which leads her to make demands.
After denying planting Lauren’s DNA in his van, Sarah urges Daniel Osbourne to persuade her daughter Bethany to drop her campaign against Nathan.
Daniel tells Daisy that he doesn’t trust Kit and something doesn’t sit right about Nathan’s conviction. Will he find out the truth?
Corrie airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and ITVX.
