It was confirmed back in June that the actor had asked his long-term girlfriend Hanni Treweek to marry him while on a safari holiday
Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd’s fiancee has shared intimate pictures taken moments after he popped the question as they look forward to their wedding in 2025.
It was confirmed back in June that the actor had asked his long-term girlfriend Hanni Treweek to marry him while on a safari holiday in Tanzania. They had been regularly updating social media with the magnificent animals they had spotted on safari before moving on to Zanzibar.
Once their incredible trip came to an end, Hanni revealed Jack, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, had asked her to marry him – and she said yes! When she took to her Instagram page to share the exciting news, writing: “05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!” alongside a picture of the loved-up pair and a glimpse at her new sparkler.
It was then in October that Jack and Hanni revealed that they’d set a date for their special day and shared a look at their gorgeous ‘save the dates’ that will be sent out to their nearest and dearest. “26th July 2025 we become Mr & Mrs Shepherd!!” she shared.
Now, as she mared the end of a memorable year, Hanni, who has been in a relationship with Jack since 2017, has shared some unseen moments from Jack’s proposal. It showed the husband and wife-to-be enjoying a celebratory drink and dinner while on their safari as they looked on loved-up.
There was also a close-up of their surrounding as well as Hanni’s gorgeous engagement ring. She ended the post with a picture of their Christmas tree featuring a special giraffe ornament to remind them of the very special occasion.
Alongside the post, Hanni wrote: “Our favourite memory from 2024. Moments after @jackpshepherd88 proposed. It was our last day in the serengeti & we hadn’t managed to see any giraffes. So we spent the entire day trying to find the most beautiful animal, followed by a picnic where Jack proposed with just us in the plain fields of the magical serengeti – it was perfect.
“The giraffe is now such a special animal to us that we had to have a touch of africa on our xmas tree hehe. A lot can happen in a year!! 2025 is set to be a big year for us & we can’t wait!!! Wishing you all a very happy new year!!! may it be your best year yet!”
