After playing huge roles in one of the biggest soap storylines of the year, Peter Ash, Harriet Bibby and Daniel Brocklebank were reunited to reap their rewards from such an emotionally charged storyline. The soap won continuing drama storyline.
The storyline surrounding Motor Neurone Disease saw Daniel’s onscreen partner Paul (Peter Ash) battle the disease. Peter Ash triumphed at the National Television Awards and Inside Soap Awards in recent months since his final scenes were broadcast in September.

The 44-year-old is an ambassador for the MND association and said it has been a privilege to address the subject on screen.
Sharing a photo from the awards ceremony. The Billy Mayhew star said: “So proud that our #MND storyline won last night at the @Royaltelevisionsocietynw. Go team!!!” And in a separate post uploaded to his Instagram account, the 44-year-old shared a heartfelt message to his onscreen daughter Harriet Bibby, who plays Summer Spellman on the cobbles.
He said: “I adore this girl” alongside three heart emojis. The image showed a selfie of the pair smiling together. The Summer Spellman actress responded in the comments “Love you!” to which Daniel added “love you more!”
Fans of the ITV soap rushed to the comments to support the fictional father and daughter duo. One fan said: “Hope you both had the best time” and another added “Beautiful picture.”
