Coronation Street star Alan Halsall couldn’t hide the smile off his face as he was reunited with his daughter in emotional scenes. The actor landed back in the UK on Wednesday (December 11) following his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here stint.
Alan, famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, was among the 12 famous faces who took part in the reality show this year.
He eneded up being the seventh campmate to leave the jungle, just behind TikTok star GK Barry, in a double elimination days before the final of the ITV jungle show, which took place on Sunday (December 8), which saw Danny Jones crowned king.
But Alan has since been seen heading from Brisbane back to Manchester as he jumped on his flight out Oz alongisde Danny, Coleen Rooney, Reverend Richard Coles, Barry McGuigan, Melvin Odoom and show hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.
And as soon as he stepped foot outside of Manchester airport, the soap star was reunited with his beloved daugther Sienna, who he shares with former Corrie co-star and ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, as she was there to welcomed him home after the best part of a month apart.
The 11-year-old could be seen running up to her dad as they embraced before they held hands as they walked out of the airport with huge smiles on their faces.
It comes after Sienna wrote a letter to her dad which he recieved while he was in the jungle. Melvin Odoom read the message, which made for a very emotional moment. As Alan welled up, Sienna said: “To daddy, I love you and I miss you so much. I’m really excited to see you when you come out and give you the biggest cuddle in the world.”
And she also asked if he was excited about Christmas yet as she wanted them to put up the Christmas tree together when they were back and also said she just wanted him back home with her.
