Coronation Street Alan Halsall has shared a sweet tribute to his ‘beautiful’ on-screen daughter as she celebrated her birthday. The actor was among those who sent birthday wishes to Bella Flanagan as she marked her and her co-star twin’s special day.
Long-time fans of the ITV soap will best know Alan for playing Tyrone Dobbs, having first appeared on the cobbles 26 years ago, with his cobbles debut airing in November 1998.
Nowadays, Tyrone co-owns Webster’s Autos alongside Kevin Webster and is married to Fiz following an on-and-off romance over two decades. The pair also share tow children, Hope and Ruby, with Tyrone’s family having since expanded with the arrival of grandmother Evelyn Plummer and real mum Cassie Plummer.
Even away from the cobbles, Alan was seen showing some love for his on-screen family as Bella, who plays Hope, turned 14 alongside her twin brother, William, who fans will know for playing Joseph Brown in Corrie.
Alongside a picture of him, Bella, his other on-screen daughter Billie Naylor (Ruby) and real-life daughter Sieanna, Alan wrote on his Instagram Story: “Happy birthday to my (other) beautiful daughter @bellaflanaganofficial_ (and of course Will).”
Meanwhile, Bella paid her own tribute to her sibling. Alongside a picture of the pair as toddlers, she wrote on her Instagram Story: “Happy Birthday twinny. I love you very mcuh and would not want to be turning 14 with anyone else xxx @will.flanagan.official,” before sharing a more recently selfie of thr pouting pair.
Chris and Rachel Flanagan are the proud parents to the soap stars and their other famous sister Amelia, who plays the role of April Windsor in Emmerdale. To mark the twins’ birthday, Rachel took to their family Instagram account with a picture of them now and as newborns and said: “Happiest of 14th birthdays to our beautiful twins Will and Bella. Thank you for always being the best of friends and always making us so proud, Have the best day Love you both.”
