The soap star has been supported by fans and co-stars
Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson has shared a career update. The Steve McDonald star has announced he has created a YouTube channel where he will be posting a variety of different content.
Announcing the news to his large social media following, Simon said: “So my analogue brain is gonna try and do a YouTube channel with various different content, car stuff, life stuff and spooky ghost stuff so check out @simongregorydad on Youtube and I’ll keep making stuff for you to like or fall asleep to either way it could come in useful.”
Supporting the news was Simon’s on screen ex-wife Kate Ford, who plays the role of Tracy Barlow on the cobbles. She said “love this”. Fans added comments with one saying “We should add some rallying to this” and another adding “Sounds ace will deffo subscribe”.
After fans asked what the name of the YouTube channel is Simon added: “So the YouTube channel is @simongregory5316 for some reason anyway there you av it.”
The soap star has been supported by fans and co-stars in recent days after announcing he was struggling with his health. The soap star had been enjoying Sotheby’s London to Brighton veteran car run on Sunday, November 3, but on the journey he had faced problems as the car he had been travelling in had broken down.
The 50-year-old shared a video saying: “Car didn’t make it, which is fortuitous because neither have I, I am full of man flu. I thought I could make it, I couldn’t so I’m tucked up in a very nice hotel where I am going to sleep and hopefully be alright.”
Wishing the Steve McDonald star well in the comments was on-screen daughter, Amy Barlow actress, Elle Mulvaney. She said: “Feel better soon” with a love heart emoji.
Fans were quick to wish the actor well with one comment reading “get well soon there Simon” another added “hope you feel better soon, get some rest.”
Other fans stated “Aw get well soon – my husbands just beaten the evilness of man flu but he didn’t moan about it once….not once…ahem” and “Awww feel better soon Si take care & rest up.”
