The actress, who is best known to fans for playing DS Lisa Swain in the ITV show, shared a sweet message

Coronation Street star Vicky Myers has sent a ‘Galentine’s’ message to two of her closest pals which includes one of her soap co-stars. The actress is best known to fans for playing DS Lisa Swain in the ITV show.

It was almost a year ago that Vicky announced she’d been signed up as a regular on the cobbles and writers wasted no time in putting her in the thick of the action, most recently as part of the Joel Deering whodunnit saga and now Rob Donovan’s escape plan thanks to her relationship with Carla Connor.

However, away from her busy time on the cobbles, Vicky has been sharing the love and took to social media on Valentine’s Day on Friday (February 14) to pay tribute to two important women in her life – Weatherfield co-star Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Abi Webster, and their fellow actress pal Erin Shanagher.

Sharing a picture of the trio, she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Happy Galentines Day [smiling face with hearts emoji] #GalentinesDay #myloves #golddust #BestFriends.”

And her followers were quick to respond. @livabuff said: “Happy Galentine’s Day to an iconic trio who are friendship goals personified. Have a day as blessed and beautiful as you all deserve.” @SapphicSoaps commented: “Ultimate trio!!! happy galentines vicky. @Swarla_Fan wrote: “Happy Galentines Day to you all. That’s a beautiful photo!”

Vicky’s snap with Sally comes after fans demanded that their on-screen characters become friends. It came after scenes between Abi and Lisa captured the attention of viewers after she stepped in to help a distressed Abi who was being interrogated by DC Kit Green over the attack on Toyah Habeeb and the arson on the Platt family home.

At the time, @swarlatakenover said: “Lisa’s care for Abi. Build a friendship. I beg of you. #corrie #swarla.” @claudiaasiann echoed: “Lisa and abi friendship incoming i BEG #Corrie.” @EveSukiEE commented: “I loved Lisa and Abi’s scenes together, they more scenes together especially outside of the police rooms #Corrie.”

@RyanTheSoapking wrote: “Love Lisa looking out for Abi. I hope they form a new friendship #Corrie.” @swarlaspoilers added: “Lisa completely understanding Abi. Theirs would be the most gorgeous friendship #Corrie.”
