Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan says ‘look who’s come back’ as she’s ‘missed’ by co-stars in post-soap update

She made a much-welcomed return to social media for the first time since her Coronation Street exit was confirmed

Charlotte Jordan has said ‘look who’s back’ as she made a much-welcomed return to social media for the first time since her Coronation Street exit was confirmed.

The actress announced at the start of the year she’d be leaving the ITV soap after four years in the role of Daisy Midgeley, leaving fans gutted.

Former Netflix star Charlotte said in a statement at the time: “My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish. After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities. It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.”

It was then at the end of last month that Charlotte’s co-star Sally Ann Matthews seemingly confirmed Charlotte had officially wrapped up filming.

The Jenny Connor actress worried some when she took to X, formerly know as Twitter, with a message that read: “Yep. I’m defo in denial.” Fans were quick to respond and then on Wednesday (February 26), she deleted her first tweet and posted another which said: “Thankfully most of you got it!!”

It appears Sal was referring to the exit of her co-star Charlotte. Responding to one fan, Sal said it had been a “sad day” and referred to “ChaCha”, her nickname for Charlotte, when replying to another.

When others expressed their sadness over the exit, the soap star encouragingly replied: “Awwww, you’re going to see her being brilliant in LOTS of other things though.”

Now, Charlotte has taken to her own social media page for the first time in months. She made no reference to her Corrie exit and instead shared a string of new snaps with fans as she posed up a storm in a white vest top, green Adidas trousers and a fur jacket.

Captioning the post, she wrote: “Well well well look who’s come back to Instagram to post her cute little mob wife outfit of the day xoxo.”

Sue Devaney, who plays Corrie’s Debbie Webster, was among Charlotte’s former co-stars to respond as she wrote in the comments section: “Miss you beautiful one.”

Her fans were also quick to respond, with many unable not to mention their sadness at her plans to leave Corrie. @xcodiesspencer.x said: “You’re so beautiful. You’re such a brilliant actress on corrie. Will miss you on our screens. so excited for what your future holds for you and see what amazing things you will achieve.”
