Coronation Street fans will see worrying twists and characters making big discoveries on the ITV soap next week, and someone’s out to expose another resident
Coronation Street spoilers have teased sad scenes ahead as well as two villains possibly facing their comeuppance on the ITV soap.
One character vows revenge as the truth comes out, while there’s also a scary showdown for another resident. Things come to a head for conniving Rowan Cunliffe, and there’s the possible exit of a fan favourite too.
At the start of the week Leanne Battersby makes her return to Weatherfield after some time away amid the cult storyline. But just as Rowan looks set to tighten his grip on the character, she makes an upsetting discovery.
Also in this storyline we see Amy Barlow left distressed by an incident, and Leanne is tasked by Rowan with clearing up the mess. But when Tracy Barlow finds out what’s going on with her daughter Amy, she takes aim at Rowan – so is his downfall finally set?
There’s a discovery linked to Kit Green next week too, but it doesn’t end well for one resident leading to a possible departure. Beth Tinker finds out the truth about Sid and Kit’s deal it seems, resulting in her confronting police detective Kit.

But Kit shows his dark side once more, making a threat against her son Craig Tinker and threatening her to leave Weatherfield for good. Amid reports Beth actress Lisa George is leaving the show after 13 years, could this see Beth leave the street in emotional scenes?
It comes amid a proposal twist too, but will Kirk Sutherland be left heartbroken? Another villain causing more havoc is Joel Deering, amid him being rumbled over his recent lies.
It seems he faces trouble with the police amid partner Dee-Dee Bailey and DS Swain’s own discoveries about him. New spoilers reveal DS Swain is forced to release Joel from the police station, hinting at an arrest for the character.
Soon enough Joel makes his way to the hospital, leaving Lauren Bolton terrified. But what does he have planned for her and her baby son Frankie, and how long before he finally faces justice for his crimes? It’s all kicking off on the cobbles next week!
