Coronation Street fans are predicting dark secrets involving newcomer Mick on the ITV soap, after a sinister scene with Daisy Midgeley during Wednesday night’s episode

There could be some twisted scenes ahead on Coronation Street after a moment with newcomer Mick on Wednesday night.

A scene between Mick and Daisy Midgeley left viewers horrified, and fearing he was harbouring a dark past. The character behaved inappropriately with Daisy after he took a little flirting too far.

Daisy was still struggling with recent events, that saw her end things with Daniel Osbourne after she suffered a miscarriage as the result of a hit and run, orchestrated by David Platt. As Daisy tried to forget her pain, she hit the wine before inviting Mick to the back room of the pub to get a reaction out of her loved ones.

But while in the room, Daisy made it clear she wanted Mick to leave. Sharing her woes, Mick suggested “they did something to cheer her up” to which Daisy replied that their “happy hour was over”.

Mick turned threatening though, walking towards her before suggesting they were only just getting started. Daisy told him to leave but Mick refused, accusing her of “giving him the come-on” and he was clearly aggressive leaving her rattled.

When Daniel walked in and saw what was going on, Mick still refused to leave before making grim comments and faces towards her. Viewers watching the scenes were grossed out by the way he was with Daisy, convinced this wasn’t the first time he’d been inappropriate and aggressive towards a woman.

Viewers now fear there’s more to be revealed about Mick in a dark twist, and that perhaps he’s more sinister than we thought. One fan shared on social media: “After the scenes with Daisy in Wednesday’s episode I just can’t shake the feeling there’s something really dodgy about Mick and that he might be the next big villain or that he’s hiding a dark past. I know this always happens with new characters, but there’s something so sinister about him. And then there’s his mystery link to Kit.”

Another fan said: “Agreed I’ve just watched today’s episode and those scenes were very creepy and made me quite uncomfortable.” A third posted: “The whole aggression especially when he said she led him on or it was her idea almost like ‘you asked for this’ was just so horrendous, I don’t doubt he’s hurt someone in the past.”

A further comment read: “There are spoiler pictures of a flashback episode with a young Lou, Mick and Kit carrying out some kind of robbery?, so yeah I definitely think he’s hiding something big.”
