Coronation Street hints at sudden split for Ryan and Daisy

Coronation Street hints at sudden split for Ryan and Daisy

Is their relationship doomed?

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street fans will see Ryan Connor and Daisy Midgeley’s relationship run into trouble again next week.

Ryan openly questions his future with Daisy when he suspects that she’d rather still be in a relationship with her ex-fiancĂ© Daniel Osbourne.

Next week, Ryan continues pushing Daisy to take the next step in their relationship.

Ryan recently spoke to Daisy about the possibility of them living together, especially as he may have outstayed his welcome sleeping on Carla Connor’s sofa.

At the time, Daisy dismissed the idea and suggested that Ryan should get his own place alone.

In upcoming scenes, ever-hopeful Ryan reiterates that he’d like to spend more time with Daisy.

Ryan adds that if Daisy changed her mind about letting him move in, that would solve their problems.

Daisy still refuses to commit to anything, which ultimately pushes Ryan to breaking point.

Ryan complains that their relationship is going nowhere because it’s obvious that Daisy is still in love with Daniel.

Could Ryan’s outburst mark the beginning of the end for his relationship with Daisy?

Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy, has often expressed doubt over the long-term future of her character’s relationship with Ryan.

The two characters initially bonded after their shared trauma over the acid attack incident involving Justin Rutherford in March 2023.

When Ryan and Daisy were about to reunite earlier this year, Charlotte warned: “I don’t know how healthy it is, but I do think they need to make a go of it so that they can come to the realisation that it may not be that healthy, or maybe it will! So yeah, I would like to see them give it a go and see what happens.”

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, September 20.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
