Her pregnancy was revealed over Christmas and Daisy’s been left questioning who the dad is

Coronation Street fans think they have worked out what Daisy Midgeley will do next after finding out she is pregnant over Christmas – but doesn’t know for sure who the father is.

There was a surprise for the barmaid – and viewers – on Christmas Day as she was seen glancing down at a positive pregnancy test while sitting on the stairs in the back of the Rovers Return, where she lives with her former step-mum and pub co-owner Jenny Connor.

As Corrie fans know, Daisy is still very much in love with her ex-fiance Daniel Osbourne, despite him being in a relationship with Bethany Platt, and the pair enjoyed an unexpected romp just a couple of weeks ago after she covered for him as he drunkenly stole and crashed Debbie Webster’s posh new car.

At the same time, Daisy is also seeing DC Kit Green after he pursued her while staying in the pub’s spare room. They recently decided to go ‘exclusive’ with their relationship, with Kit not knowing about Daisy and Daniel’s secret liason and her not knowing about his short-lived affair with Shona Platt.

That was until Shona revealed all to Daisy about the detectives performance in the bedroom during Friday night’s (December 27) Corrie as she issued her a warning that he’s bad news.

With Jenny the only other person who knows Daisy is pregnant, after giving Daniel short shrift, she clocked on to the fact that things aren’t quite right between the pair, before Daisy admitted that she didn’t know who the father of her unborn child is.

Now, Corrie fans have shared what they think Daisy will do next. @daisyxdanielx said: “She’ll say it’s kit and it’ll be daniel.” @soapssfan posted: “She’ll tell Kit it’s his baby and then find out it’s Daniel’s just in time for Lucy Fallon to go on maternity leave.” @AmandaLooLah shared: “Baby is obvs Daniel’s and Bethany will find out and that’ll be them writing her out for maternity leave so predictable #Corrie.” @bethanypIatt echoed: “She’s going to act like kit’s the baby daddy and then for Bethany to leave it’ll come out that it’s daniel #corrie.”

Others, however, have added another name to the mix as @TVnerd5645 shared: “So random but I feel like the real father of Daisy’s baby in #Corrie could be David. Him and Shona have been rocky and he’s been stealing – why not cheat too? Would give him an interesting storyline for 2025 as well.” Meanwhile, @shortyem35 questioned: “Is there any chance Ryan could be the father?? depends how far gone she is?”
