They think the dodgy cop could turn to murder and they ‘have a feeling’ who his victim could be
Coronation Street fans think Kit Green could turn to murder and they ‘have a feeling’ who his victim could be among a string of exits.
A trail of exits which actually began in December with the departure of soap icon Helen Worth, who after 50 years on the cobbles, decided to bow out of the role of Gail Platt.
Since then, Sue Cleaver has also announced her plans to wave goodbye to Weatherfield after playing the role of Gail’s frenemy Eileen Grimshaw on and off for 25 years.
Actress Charlotte Jordan has confirmed that she will be bowing out of the ITV soap this year after four years in the role of Daisy Midgeley. Confirmation of Charlotte’s exit comes after Colson Smith confirmed he was told he is being axed this year as he marks 14 years playing Craig Tinker.
Meanwhile, actor Jacob Roberts has recently teased that more is to come from DC Green in 2025. As 2024 drew to a close, Jacob took to Instagram with a moody picture of himself in character as Kit on a snowy cobbles. Alongside the snap he wrote: “As the year comes to a close, I’ve had such an amazing time playing Kit on @coronationstreet and thank you all for the support. I look forward to 2025 and what it brings.”
Now, fans think the dodgy cop could be involved in Craig’s upcoming departure from Weatherfield after pushing his mum, Beth Tinker, out of the picture last year.
@Melwelshbird said: “What the hell is going on with #Corrie. I’m sad that have got rid of Craig. I’ve got a feeling he might start investigating Kit and kit Kills him or gets him sacked.” @Samanth22356123 commented: “I get the feeling Kit will be involved in Craig’s exit. It’s clear he can’t stand him! #Corrie.”
@mic69449413 posted: “Just hoping @itvcorrie don’t go down the road of Kit killing Craig because he finds out and what Kit is really like.” But @MarianC67342 shared: “Final story should be that Craig finds out Kit is a bent copper. Wish you well for your future.” @Denijin24 added: “I hope they make you uncover Kit Green’s shady dealings and write your last episodes as a hero.”
