Actor Harry Lowbridge was seen making a dramatic exit from the ITV soap earlier this month
Coronation Street fans think a new villain in Weatherfield history will soon be making a return after he made a cryptic comment about his time on the cobbles.
Harry Lowbridge was seen making a dramatic exit from the ITV soap earlier this month. His character Logan Radcliffe was arrested weeks after his younger brother Mason Radcliffe’s heartbreaking death as a result of a knife attack.
As viewers saw back in January, the teen died after being stabbed by his brothers Logan and Matty in a horrifying attack. Mason was trying to turn things around after he was eventually served justice for his cruel bullying campaign against Liam Connor last year.
But he struggled to escape his brothers. Mason set about helping DS Lisa Swain as she believed Matty and Logan were behind the death of her wife, Becky, on duty.
After getting his brothers questioned, he prepared to leave having accepted a job offer from Stu Carpenter in Germany. But as he asked Dylan Wilson for help in searching his brothers’ flat for a box of photographs for him to take with him, they were caught by the troubled pair.
Panicked, Liam and Mason ran but the former was punched to the ground before the latter jumped from a height in a bid to escape, only to twist his ankle and hinder his getaway. Viewers then discovered Mason bleeding before it was revealed that Liam had brought the knife he’d been hiding for months in a bid to help save Mason.
Scared, he threatened Matty and Logan, only for Logan to take the knife and as Mason jumped to Liam’s defence, Matty pushed his younger sibling in Logan’s direction and right into the zombie knife and it was later confirmed Mason had died from his injuries.
While Matty was caught in the days that followed, Logan was still on the run but returned to the Street amidst a horror blaze at the Platts’ beloved family home.
In the aftermath of the devastating fire, David Platt told DC Kit Green that the arsonist had to be Logan, who David had seen nearby that morning. Later, at Shuttleworth’s funeral parlour, David found Logan and the pair had a furious showdown which saw Logan threaten to kill him.

The confrontation, which was secretly recorded by David, ended with Logan’s arrest and while he admitted to murdering his brother, he denied arson.
Now, a couple of weeks on from the dramatic scenes, Harry has taken to Instagram with a clip of his confrontation with David and said: “Lil snippet of Logan’s ‘final’ showdown. Super grateful for being a small part of this national treasure and getting to work with some amazing people.”
He added: “Thank you to everyone who made it a blast! Goodbye.. for now.” His followers were quick to respond as they praised his performance while some thought his comments meant that his time in the show isn’t really over.
