Coronation Street’s Daniel Osbourne has been torn between girlfriend Bethany Platt and ex Daisy Midgeley in recent months, but fans are convinced he’ll end up with someone else

Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve figured out who Daniel Osbourne will ultimately choose in his love triangle with Bethany Platt and Daisy Midgeley – and it’s neither of them.

In recent months, the cobbles have seen Daniel (played by Rob Mallard) caught in a romantic tug-of-war between his girlfriend Bethany (Lucy Fallon) and his ex Daisy (Charlotte Jordan). Viewers may remember that Daniel was once engaged to Daisy, until she betrayed him with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).

Following their split, Daniel moved on with Bethany while Daisy sparked a romance with Ryan. However, Daisy’s relationship with Ryan soon fizzled out.

Despite Daniel and Bethany’s relationship blossoming, things took a turn in September when Bethany underwent a botched cosmetic procedure, resulting in her needing a stoma bag. This ordeal has put pressure on their relationship.

The plot thickened last week when an intoxicated Daniel crashed Debbie Webster’s car. Daisy quickly stepped in to help Daniel escape from the accident scene, reports Lancs Live. While in Debbie’s car, Daisy nearly hit Shona Platt (Jacob Roberts) before setting the car ablaze. After confessing to Daniel, he was appreciative of her assistance.

However, one thing led to another and after another argument with Bethany, Daniel and Daisy ended up sleeping together. Daniel was quick to regret his actions, leaving Daisy devastated.

Despite the ongoing love triangle involving Daisy and Daniel, fans of Coronation Street believe Daniel will ultimately end up with someone else. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, a viewer expressed: “I hope Daniel ends up with neither Bethany or Daisy! Didn’t half annoy me!”

This comment sparked others to share their own speculations about potential future romances for Daniel, with some suggesting he could be suited to either Glenda Shuttleworth or Maria Connor.

One fan wrote: “Maria? I’ve always thought they look well suited.” Another viewer agreed, stating: “Hope he ends up with Glenda she will put him right.” A third person concurred: “Yes to this! Daisy and Bethany are too good for him!”
