Coronation Street fans think they know what Andy is up to after supplying David Platt with criminal dealings in recent weeks on the ITV soap, ahead of a death twist
Andy on Coronation Street seems to have a dark plan for David Platt, as fans worked out he was secretly working against him.
David’s former prison inmate was contacted by the desperate character recently, who owed a lot of money to villain Harvey Gaskell. Wanting to get stuck into some dodgy dealings via Andy, he decided this was the only way to get some money back.
Over the past few weeks David has been up to no good and recently he was attacked, with one criminal job not going to plan. But as David met with Andy once more on Thursday night, fans were sure they knew what was really going on.
Ahead of a worrying death twist and the truth about Andy being revealed next week, fans thought the latest episode gave away Andy’s true agenda and his real plan for his so-called pal. Some fans think Andy is secretly working for someone and it could be bad news for David.
Other fans believed the recent attack on David was planned, and that Andy had set him up with the latest dodgy job. Viewers are convinced Andy is bad news and is plotting against David, fearing David could be in serious danger.
Taking to social media one fan theorised: “I’d listen to Shona David – Andy is definitely playing against you.” Another fan posted: “David should cut things off with Andy before things get out of hand.”

A third viewer predicted: “David’s ‘friend’ Andy definitely arranged for David to be targeted by those lads. I wouldn’t be surprised IF Andy works with or for Harvey at this point.”

Next week David is left fighting for his life after a horror accident. He’s confronted by a terrified Andy, who storms into the salon and brandishes a knife.
Andy explains that Harvey has sent a message, and that Harvey wants David dead for his life insurance. But will Andy kill David? It seems tragedy could strike, as later in the week David staggers into the road drunk only for a car to come speeding towards him, and pregnant Daisy Midgeley is caught in the crossfire.
Spoilers reveal that the car slams into the pair, with David left dying in the road. But will he be killed off in a shocking twist, and is Andy to blame for the incident?
